Our Story
Building Stronger Businesses (BSB) was founded on the belief that every local business and nonprofit deserves the tools to succeed, no matter their size or background. What began as a student-led initiative quickly evolved into a community partnership model, connecting business students with underserved entrepreneurs across the Chicagoland area.
We saw a gap between classroom learning and real-world experience, and between small businesses and the professional guidance they need to grow. BSB bridges that gap through collaboration, education, and hands-on consulting projects that strengthen both sides.
Every workshop and partnership is built on one goal: to empower small organizations to thrive and to equip students with the skills and values to become the next generation of community-minded leaders.
